Would give a zero rating if possible
Would give a zero rating if possible. Had an extremely bad experience with customer service online about an item which was damaged on delivery. Constant attempts to contact customer service through phone and WhatsApp with no help. Worst retail customer service I have ever experienced. Will not shop with Zara again when other competitors seem to be able to provide a helpful customer service. Not worth the stress and upset.

Had 2 bad experiences order was said to be delivered no card telling me were so went to as ask everyone if they received I'd noone had I couldn't get a refund because the courier said he had delivered to my address. Send 2 swimming costumes I only ordered a small they sent a small and large I didn't realise I payed for both none had the the plastic cover on crouch .small one was damaged aswell obviously large was to big .would accept a return for both saying they weren't sent in the condition I received them in .won't be shopping online again they rip you off

Zara Derby
I wanted to return an item in-store but the queue was extremely long so I asked one of the retail assistant if I could speak with the manager She then went and got the radio to call her and I quote the manager replied by saying “ it is what it is” and she wasn’t coming. Zara’s customer service must be one of the worst I’ve ever come across and I’ve worked in retail for multiple years management and staff have no behaviour and regard for customers.

Had a bad experience today earlier with customer service online. Bought shorts last month,been wearing them twice and notice that one side seam was split . I Text them ,send them photo,but they told me that all their orders go through strict quality check. They try to blame me, asked me how i washed and how many times exactly worn them.But when I told them i have excatly the same shorts from last year black colour and been washed many times and worn hardly,and nothing wrong with them ,they straight away offer me refund. Very disappointed with their customer service and unfortunately this not first time.

Appalling returns policy and no common sense
Appalling returns policy. My wife bought be a pair of trousers before we went on holiday but they were too small. On return from holiday we weren't able to get to a Zara store for various reasons until about 6 weeks later. The store manager refused to EXCHANGE the trousers even though they were still selling them and the trousers were pristine with labels that they could sell on. However, now I'm left with a pair of trousers which are no good to me and the Zara employees keep repeating the policy of 30days return to me. Surely, there needs to be some level of judgement and common sense applied here.

Criminally poor service
Refused return of online order claiming missing tags. No tags on arrival, so no tags on return. Item clearly not worn, in my possession less than 12 hours. They do such massive business they don't care if individual customers are satisfied. Will be glad not to contribute to cheap fast fashion's negative impact on environment. Lost money possible retribution for having shopped with an immoral company in the first place.

If I could give it zero I would. Bought an item in store and was dumb enough not to check it in store. Got home to try is and noticed markings on it. Tried to return it to store and was refused a refund, got given the customer service number only to be told they can't over rule a decision that was made in store. What is the bloody point in the customer service team if they have no decision making authority. Just a way for the store to fob me off and be someone else's problem. Absolutely ridiculous consider most of their sale items are on the floor, so obviously they are not going to be in the best of conditions. Definitely not going to waste my money there again.

Super Slow Checkout
The checkout and refund process is brutal. Cashiers are painfully slow. With only 3 people ahead of me it could take 30-40 minutes to pay for my items.

Please work to improve this.

Scandalously poor service
Refused to refund a return from an online order, claiming tags were missing. There were no tags on arrival, hence no tags on return. Item clearly had not been worn. They do such massive business they really don't care if individuals are satisfied. Will avoid in future and be glad not to contribute to negative impact of cheap, fast fashion on the environment.

Awful customer service - I don't think Zara understand the term 'customer experience'
For what should be a top brand, you receive the poorest customer service. Everyone I have spoken to has been rude, there is an air of we are Zara, these are our rules, like it or lump it. I've ordered twice from them online and both times I had issues. First time, after highlighting I hadn't received my order, I was told that my order had been delivered, I was sent a photo, but not of my house of where the parcel had supposedly been delivered. Second time, received a dress with wrong size belt, the dress is now out of stock, I requested if I could keep the dress but be offered a small refund to compensate for wrong belt and I'm told it's impossible and I will have to refund it.
Core requirement of good customer service is empathy, understand the customer's experience. Looking at the other reviews here, it seem that this basic human decency is missing and not part of their working ethics. Never again will I shop with them.

Customer service…what customer service?
As a regular buyer of Zara womens clothing, I was totally disgusted at the lack of customer service in the Telford branch. Having chosen a number of items, I queued to pay as twoyoung assistants struggled to serve customers at the till. After 15 minutes & a growing queue of 6 people behind me, I asked the blonde lady with a clipboard (whom I presumed was a manager) if anyone could use the third till to alleviate a very long queue. I was curtly told ‘no’ as she walked off!-there were two assistants having a chat about their weekends by the fitting room & others on the shop floor, so it wasn’t a staffing issue. I got so fed up, I abandoned clothes & shop - really can’t believe they care so little about sales!!!
